• City of Santa Clarita Tourism Bureau, Santa Clarita, California – Developed on-line Press Room for the Tourism Bureau's web site. We wrote the press releases, created the photo gallery and worked with our web designer, Glo Studios, to create a Press Room that matched the current web site. www.richards-stark.com/santaclarita
• Buena Park Downtown, Buena Park, California - Develop creative collateral materials for the
2005 marketing campaign.
• Two Rodeo
Drive, Beverly Hills, California – Developed marketing plan for developer’s
expansion plans and on-going marketing for 2004.
Handle consumer advertising and public relations campaign
and day-to-day issues for operating a marketing
department at the 138,000 square foot luxury retail center.

• JA Stowell
Construction, Costa Mesa, California –
Developed their corporate brochure, and marketing collateral
materials, and have recently launched the new web site

• Westfield
Shoppingtown Santa Anita – Retained by
public relations firm, The Donahue Group, to be a public
relations consultant for the 250,000 square foot expansion
and grand opening at the Shoppingtown on October 1,
2004.
• Le Creuset
of America, Inc. – Early Branch, South
Carolina – Developed training program for store
managers and
directors and taught 4 hour course during Le Creuset University
titled “Public Relations and Event Planning.”
• Craig
Realty Group – Newport Beach, CA –
Handle all corporate public relations and corporate advertising.
Develop, design, and implement corporate leasing materials
and web site. Develop, design and implement
cooperative corporate marketing programs for all of their
outlet centers, and represent company portfolio at travel
trade shows. Centers include Cabazon Outlets, Citadel
Outlets, Carlsbad Company Stores, Lake Elsinore Outlets,
Outlets at Anthem, Sussex Outlets, and Woodburn Company

• Go West
Outlet Shopping Marketing Plan - Developed marketing
alliance called “Go West Outlet Shopping”
for
developers Craig Realty Group and Talisman Companies,
LLC – Created travel planner, advertising campaign,
public relations plan for program, and web site. Recently
received a SASI award and SCMDA Magic award for

• Citadel
Outlets, Los Angeles, California – Developed
public relations plan for developer’s renovation
and expansion
plans. Handle consumer advertising campaign, sign program
for new phase construction, web site, and provide

• Cabazon
Outlets, Cabazon, CA – Designed all marketing
collateral materials. Developed logo and building signage
package. Oversee all cooperative merchant marketing program,
advertising campaign and web site.

• Outlets
at Anthem, Phoenix, Arizona – Developed
logo and consumer advertising campaign, web site, sign

for new phase construction, and oversee cooperative advertising

• Lake Elsinore Outlets, Lake Elsinore, California – Redesign of logo and develop new identity program.
Design marketing collateral materials.

In addition to the above current client activity report,
this briefly explains our experience with tourism destination
projects.
• Ontario
Mills, Ontario, California – Successfully
launched the grand opening of California’s largest
shopping
destination in November 1996. As an employee of the Mills
Corporation, ChrisAnn oversaw an advertising budget of
$2.3 million and directed a staff of 27 personnel. Ontario
Mills attracted more than 12.3 million shoppers in its
first
year of operation – more than visited Disneyland
in 1997. In 1996, the mall received more than $3.5 million
in
publicity for its Grand Opening splash. Over 284 print
articles, 65 television stories, and 20 minutes of radio
reports
were placed.
• Beverly
Center, Los Angeles, California – We had
a 15-month contract with the Center, overseeing their
entire
marketing program while they conducted an executive search
for a full-time marketing director. We oversaw the
new advertising campaign and development of the new logo
and sign designs, the day-to-day marketing department
operations, implemented the Travel Planner for the tourism
department, and oversaw the public relations plan for
the introduction of their major renovation in 2000. On
an annual basis, we continue to coordinate their VIP holiday
event.
• California
Welcome Center at Beverly Center, Los Angeles, California
– We developed the grand opening gala
event to introduce the facility to the travel trade industry,
hotel concierges, and provided public relations for the
event. Developed sponsorships with Where Magazine and
Universal Studios to help promote the event and to
provide entertainment for the gala.
• Inland
Empire Tourism Council, San Bernardino, California –
We developed a CD rom featuring all the destinations
in the Inland Empire. We worked with Digital Empire in
Riverside on this project. The CEO of Digital Empire was
the past-president of the Tourism Council. The CD was
driven by sponsorship dollars so participants that were
primarily featured provided marketing dollars to underwrite
the project. The CD was distributed to media outlets and
at all travel trade shows attended by the Council.
• California
Tourism, Sacramento, California – In 1999,
we developed travel trade show graphics and banners for
the
State of California’s division of tourism themed
“Find Yourself Here.”
• Irvine
Spectrum Center, Irvine, California – We
developed a concierge incentive program and introduced
the
program through a Hospitality Event held at the center.
To help underwrite the event, we developed a sponsorship
program with Where Magazine.
• California
Welcome Center, Ontario, California – For
the American Wilderness Experience at Ontario Mills, we
developed the grand opening event of the California Welcome
Center to coincide with the grand opening of the
venue and restaurant. The Welcome Center was sponsored
by the Inland Empire Tourism Council and we
developed the criteria for the new home of the Inland
Empire Tourism Hall of Fame.
• Hollywood
& Highland, Hollywood, California –
Developed and implemented the Charity Shopping event ‘A
Cause
to Shop” that was held on grand opening day and
benefited 40 Los Angeles based charities. |
